  • Crystal Named Division 5 Sports School of the Year!

    We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Crystal was named the Top Division-5 State Sports School of the Year. With three CIF state titles in Girls Volleyball, Boys Cross Country, and Girls Cross Country, Crystal's state title record is matched only by powerhouse athletic schools such as Mater Dei of Santa Ana and Santa Margarita Rancho!   • Celebrating Creativity

    The Fine Arts Festival was a vibrant celebration of our entire 6-12 Fine Arts Department! Attendees enjoyed an incredible showcase of our students’ talent, dedication, and artistic expression across various disciplines. The festival transformed our US campus grounds into a bustling hub of creativity. From the art galleries adorned with stunning paintings, sculptures, and photography to the stage pulsating with captivating dance and music performances to the Commons bubbling with dramatic and hilarious drama scenes, there was something to ignite every artistic passion.

  • Crystal Grads Give Back

    Our US Microeconomics & Finance class and Math Teacher, Hannah Maluth ‘16, brought things full circle in her MiFi class this spring. Ms. Maluth now teaches a class that she took from our Head of School, Kelly Sortino when Ms. Maluth was a student at Crystal. Following the curriculum designed by Ms. Sortino and former Head of Middle School and current Trustee Andrew Davis, Ms. Maluth added her spin on a culminating guest speaker series to give students a sense of real-world applications to the theories they have been studying all year.

  • Crystal's Math Team with the US Math Department

    Crystal Math Team Takes First Plac

    Crystal’s Math Team, consisting of David L ‘27, Ethan C ‘27,
    Bosman B ‘26, Chase H ‘26, Jason Y ‘26, and Isaac L ‘24, recently participated in the Purple Comet Math Competition. The team had 90 minutes to take the exam and got 27 out of the 30 questions correct. This stellar performance earned the team 1st Place in California and 6th Place Worldwide! Check out the full list of results here.

  • Members of the Hillsborough Youth Commission support Fentanyl Awareness Day

    Crystal Students Help Host Fentanyl Awareness Event

    The Hillsborough Youth Commission (HYC), including Crystal students Rohan D ‘25, Griffin J ‘24, Chase H ‘26, Erica L ‘26, and Chiara L ‘26, as well as Hillsborough City Council member Leslie Ragsdale, P '17, P '21, P '21, hosted its first-ever Fentanyl Awareness Day to coincide with National Fentanyl Awareness Day on May 7.

  • Eighth Graders to Lead Pursuit of Passion Days

    Again this year, 8th-grade students will lead Pursuit of Passion (PoP) workshops on Wednesdays, May 15, 22, and 28. Building on their own PoP Week experiences over the past three years, 8th graders will Seek Growth Challenges and Lead with Humility while the 6th and 7th graders "Engage with Enthusiasm."
