Mind & Body Program centered & strong

Make Healthy, Informed Choices for Lifelong Fitness and Wellness

True wellness transcends the classroom and combines the vitality of the mind with the vigor of the body. The Mind Body Program (MBP) roots itself in the harmony between mental and physical well-being. This is pivotal during school years and foundational for a thriving adulthood. Students equip themselves with insights and tools needed to make enlightened choices for enduring health and vitality. This technology-based program merges athletics, health, science, and cross-disciplinary endeavors.

Mind/Body Program (MBP)

The Mind Body Program is a 6-11 interdisciplinary, comprehensive field of study. The core curricula in the Mind Body program are the Wellness classes which are lecture-based. Wellness classes will allow students to explore topics related to physical and mental health, social-emotional learning, mindfulness, well-being, and fitness. Students apply concepts learned in Wellness classes to the physical activity component they choose; athletics, dance, or activity classes. The goal of the Mind Body Program is to foster an educational environment that empowers students to navigate inevitable life challenges and strive for health and balance.
