Crystal Eighth Graders Enjoy a Gr8 Visit!
Our eighth grade students experienced a taste of Upper School life at Crystal's first ever Gr8 Visit! Eighth graders launched their morning in Hillsborough with an official 9am late start and breakfast in the cafe.
Over breakfast, Director of Admission Aaron Whitmore moderated a panel discussion of Upper School experts including Crystal seniors ("lifers" Alexia and Kunal), and a variety of upper school teachers and administrators. The panel also featured Upper School Athletics Director Bill Whitmore and Upper School Fine Arts Department Chair Kym Matossian. A campus-wide scavenger hunt followed the panel, with advisory groups working together to solve clever clues, discover new spaces, and meet new faces. (Head of Upper School Kelly Sortino and Dean of Students Oriana Isaacson served as "phone a friend" guides for teams needing helpful hints.)
