Morning meeting at Crystal was a history-making occasion. For the first time in the CSUS theater, a marriage proposal was staged, complete with a flash mob and glo sticks. Head of Upper School, Kelly Sortino, was surprised...
by her fiancé, Andrew Malcolm, with a full extravaganza he had been planning for months. Close friends and family who flew in for the surprise proposal entered the auditorium dancing to "The Way You Make Me Feel," while a group of students wearing glittery gloves took the stage for a flash mob with everyone in the audience waving glo sticks, which had been hidden under the seats.
