Oscar-Nominated Actors and Director of Oscar-Nominated Film Introduce Ben Fisher ‘04’s Award-Winning Screenplay to Buyers at Cannes Film Festival
US Drama and English Teacher, Ben Fisher ‘04, makes the jump from playwriting to screenwriting with his award-winning play Damascus set to be produced as a movie titled The Zealot with an impressive team of acclaimed artists and producers bringing it to life. “It all starts with a great script and this one has haunted me from the first time I read it,” said producer Jib Polhemus (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The Mechanic) of Mr. Fisher’s script.
“The Zealot is a journey into the heart of what it means to be human to other humans,” said director Vadim Perelman (House of Sand and Fog, Persian Lessons). We cannot wait to see this thriller when it hits theaters!
