Center for Transformative Teaching Conference
Educators from across the nation gathered at Crystal's Middle School for this year's Transformative Teaching Conference, centered on Human in the Loop and the intersection of AI and inclusive education.
Crystal was honored to welcome Alice Friend '98, Director for Global AI and Emerging Tech Policy at Google, as the keynote speaker. Drawing on her expertise in responsible AI governance, national security, and public policy, Alice shared a thoughtful perspective on balancing innovation with responsibility and on how educators can approach teaching and learning in an AI-driven future.
In all, a dozen Crystal PAC members presented at the conference, along with the conference organizers, Julia Rubin '00, US Director of Teaching and Learning, and Mary Beth Thompson, MS Director of Teaching and Learning and World Language Department Co-Chair.
