  • Legally Blonde

US Cast and Crü brought a story about defying stereotypes, embracing individuality, and discovering inner strength and worth to life. We followed Elle Woods, a bubbly sorority girl deemed "not serious enough" for the esteemed halls of Harvard Law School. Yet, Elle, armed with her determination, charm, and a healthy dose of pink, proved that appearances can be deceiving. This production was a testament to the dedication and talent of our performers and Crü members. They poured their hearts and souls into their (sometimes many) roles, capturing the humor, wit, and emotional depth of many different characters.
  • Little Mermaid, Jr.

This year, the MS afterschool performing arts program presented a thoughtful, playful, and entertaining performance of The Little Mermaid, Jr. Fifty-four students participated in bringing this charming performance to life by either stepping out onto the stage or by supporting backstage. We are so proud of all of them. Congratulations on a successful performance!
  • Music in the Mansion

Our talented US and MS musicians showcased their abilities in the US Mansion Ballroom this February as One Crystal. The use of our Mansion as a performance setting allowed students to showcase their individual musical talents in an elegant yet intimate atmosphere. The performance provided a rare opportunity for our MS and US students to see and hear each other’s individual talents and hard work. From soaring classical pieces on the piano to soulful melodies on the violin and everything in between, our students impressed each other and the audience with their dedication and skill.
  • PET Bridge at MS

Last summer, MS Science Teacher and MS Science Department Chair Brendan Gummerson was chatting with US Science Teacher and Shop Supervisor Robert Martinez ‘13. Mr. Gummerson noted that the shortest distance from his classroom to the cafeteria is directly through the MS bioswale. He postulated how great it would be if there were a more direct shortcut that did not harm our beautiful bioswale. Thus, the MS Bridge Project in Mr. Martinez’s US PET class was born.
  • Viaggio di primavera in Italia

Our US Journey to Italian Antiquity was molto bene! We saw many different sights, including the Colosseum, The Vatican City and Sistine Chapel, The Pantheon, The National Archaeological Museum of Naples, and The Taormina. From rain in Rome to sun in Sicily, we enjoyed diverse city sites and gelato almost every day! Overall, we were so lucky to see many amazing sites that have been preserved for so long and get to spend time with a wonderful group of students and PAC members. Although we were sad to say ciao to Italy and our tour guide Laura, we are so grateful for the experience!
  • US Winter Athletics (Girls Basketball & Soccer)

This winter was another record-breaking season for the Gryphons, with Girls Soccer and Basketball teams winning their respective CCS Div. 5 Championships. Girls Soccer won the first CCS Championship in school history, while it was the second in four years for Girls Basketball. The Girls Soccer team won their league, three CCS games, and qualified for the NorCal playoffs for the first time in school history. Girls Basketball won three CCS games and four NorCal playoff games before falling in the NorCal Final! What a fantastic accomplishment for Crystal Athletics.
