Mind & Body centered & strong

Make Healthy, Informed Choices for Lifelong Fitness and Wellness

True wellness transcends the classroom and combines the vitality of the mind with the vigor of the body. The Mind Body Program (MBP) roots itself in the harmony between mental and physical well-being. This is pivotal during school years and foundational for a thriving adulthood. Students equip themselves with insights and tools needed to make enlightened choices for enduring health and vitality. This technology-based program merges athletics, health, science, and cross-disciplinary endeavors. To deepen students’ grasp of fitness essentials, Fitness Lab rotation spans from ninth to eleventh grade and culminates in the development of Individual Fitness Plan.

Mind/Body Program (MBP)

In grades 9 to 11, students can take part in MBP, a program that combines academic knowledge with practical wellness techniques. The program has two main components: Upper School weekly Fitness Labs, which cover topics ranging from physical fitness and health to mindfulness and emotional well-being, and physical activities such as athletics, dance, or activity classes. Students can apply what they learn in the Fitness Labs to their chosen activities. Crystal sports team members are given study halls or free periods to balance their academic work with physical well-being.
