PAC works with Stanford's CSET on AI in Education
In SY 2025-26, Crystal's Professional Adult Community (PAC) will dive deeper into AI, what it means for our teaching and learning philosophy, how teachers can effectively and meaningfully leverage AI to enrich learning, and how we prepare our students for success in an AI world. During PAC Week (in-service training held earlier in the month), PAC began working with Stanford University's Center to Support Excellence in Teaching (CSET), a partnership that will continue throughout the year.
Faculty and School leadership are working in four clusters (Fine Arts/Mind Body, History/English/World Language, Science/Math/CADS, and Institutional Programming) to design authentic learning experiences in which AI assists and/or enriches learning, while simultaneously safeguarding against suboptimal uses of AI that bypass or replace learning. As lifelong learners, we are excited to embrace the growth and the challenges that AI in education presents!
