Areas to Support

The generous support of the Crystal community allows us to provide financial assistance, expanded programs, dedicated faculty, and state-of-the art facilities for our all of our students.
The Crystal Fund
Crystal Fund gifts support vital aspects of the educational program including faculty salaries, financial assistance, classroom expenses, and maintenance of our facilities. 100% of families donated last year. Questions? Contact Megan Sweeney via email.

Planned Giving - Mansion Heritage Society

Fundraising Events
  • Crystal Fest:  An annual community-wide auction fundraiser that brings together parents, alumni, students, staff and friends of Crystal to support faculty professional development and financial assistance programs for students.
  • Doc Ingersoll Memorial Golf Tournament:  Organized by the Gryphon Club,  this tournament honors Doc Ingersoll's commitment to education, both in athletics and academics, and allows the Gryphon Club to support athletic and other inter-scholastic programs at Crystal.

  • Gifts of Cash

    A gift of cash is tax-deductible in the year contributed. Credit card gifts can also be made on the school’s website. Go to Online Giving>>

  • Gifts of Stock or Securities

    Gifts of appreciated securities provide a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock while avoiding capital gains tax on the appreciated value.
    Thank you for giving a gift of stock to Crystal Springs Uplands School. We are grateful for your support. To give stock to Crystal, please follow the instructions below:

    1. Contact Megan Sweeney in Crystal’s Advancement Office to notify the school of the stock transfer. Please provide the following information:
      • Donor name 
      • Name of security
      • Number of shares
      • Purpose of the gift (i.e. Crystal Fund, Capital Campaign, etc.)
    1. Contact your broker with transfer instructions.

    Crystal Springs Uplands School will issue a receipt for tax purposes once the securities are sold. The date of the gift receipt is the date of the stock transfer.  The value of the gift is the average price of the stock on the date of transfer.

  • Matching Gifts

    When making a gift to Crystal, please be sure to take advantage of any available matching gift programs. Many corporations will match an employee’s charitable contributions, doubling and sometimes tripling the gift amount to the school.

  • Pledges

    Pledges to the Crystal Fund and Alumni Giving may be made online here. Capital pledges may be paid over a period of five years. Pledges will be counted toward the campaign goal when confirmed in writing.

  • Memorial and Honorary Gifts

    Any gift may be made in honor or memory of another individual.

  • Planned and Deferred Gifts

    Bequests and life income trusts are some of the vehicles by which you may include Crystal in your estate planning. Such gifts offer major tax benefits while supporting the school. Planned gift donors are members of Crystal's Mansion Heritage Society.

  • Shopping to Support Student Activities

    Parents are encouraged to help support student activities by shopping at Amazon Smile and eScrip Online Mall. Shopping throughout the year (birthdays, holidays, anniversaries) can also benefit Crystal student activities. (eScrip: Crystal group ID #119145626)
